Seasonal Workshop:

Connect with the energy of the fall season to root you into the present through a guided meditation, reflect on what is changing and evolving, and connect with what you're letting go of as we prepare for the winter months.

Explore gentle somatic breathing practices that are aligned with the energy of the season.

Community:

Lean into a safe and supportive community where everyone's voice is welcomed and honored. Allow yourself to share what's on your heart and mind in this season of your life.

Restorative Wellness:

Take time to rest in a slow, restorative yoga sequence in the cozy comfort of your own home. During restorative yoga, we'll offer a soothing sound bath experience with singing bowls.

Wellness & Yoga with Jessica

In an often busy, demanding world, we often become disconnected from ourselves, with others, and with nature. I created this seasonal retreat as an opportunity to connect with the seasons of our lives, the natural ebbs and flows, and the remembrance of our connection with earth. As the leaves change color and begin to fall, I am reminded of the beauty in change and the necessity of shedding what no longer serves us.

My invitation: During our wellness retreat, I will facilitate a seasonal workshop where I will invite you to root into the energy of fall through a guided meditation and visualization. I'll offer space for individual and group reflections. Following a guided breath practice by Annie Chen, I'll offer a restorative yoga practice to integrate the insights you've gained and offer space for rest.

As a Registered Yoga Teacher and Certified Mindfulness Facilitator, I am passionate about reconnecting individuals with the present moment, inviting them to explore self-compassion, and holding space for them to discover what it means to live in alignment with their values

Breathwork with Annie

I think of fall as a transitional season. In Chinese medicine, fall is associated with letting go of things that no longer serve you and preparing warmth in the body. If you have all four seasons where you live like I do, it's quite amazing to see the leaves change and fall into these vibrant orange and yellow colors. It's a reminder that what we shed can be quite beautiful if we allow ourselves time to sit and notice it.

My invitation: Following Jessica's workshop, I will be teaching a specific breathwork practice that plays a multi-functional role: It can assist us with calming down our nervous system and bringing us into safety, but it can also bring clarity and focus. As we practice, consider what you would like to let go of this season.

Annie is a certified trauma breath coach and enjoys integrating trauma-informed holistic tools such as mindfulness and breathwork with her clients.

Sound Bath by Tynaja

Hi my name is Tynaja Shelby I am a Reiki practitioner and sound healer!! To me Fall is a time of change and renewal, although it took me a while to accept life changes and transitions in a way it helped me realize that I am being prepared for something better. Now I can fully embrace letting go of things that no longer serve me and find comfort in it!!

My invitation: My invitation for Jessica’s workshop is to provide a sound bath experience where you can feel at ease and uplifted and still feel comfortable and centered.

Tynaja will offer a gentle sound bath experience during the restorative yoga practice using frosted singing bowls.

"The retreat was such a wonderful experience to reflect on things that challenged me but also really utilize strategies to help me recover and grow….It was tremendously impactful even through a virtual format. The way she connected to us and had us to connect to others really made for a quality experience.”
